Xplore expands 100Mbps services in rural New Brunswick

Canadian fixed broadband operator Xplore (formerly Xplornet) has announced a list of 124 additional rural communities in New Brunswick which can now access its premium 100Mbps download/10Mbps upload internet speeds with unlimited monthly data. The latest rollout covers more than 21,000 homes and businesses, doubling the download speed previously available in these communities. Last year, Xplore launched 100Mbps speeds for 11,000 premises in 48 rural communities across the province.

The most recent rollout has benefited residents of small settlements such as: Eel River Cove, McGinleys Corner, Frog Lake, Botsford Portage, Crabbe Mountain, Yoho, Whittier Ridge, Killoween, West Quaco, Jolicure, Titusville, Hamtown Corner, Nackawic and many others.

Xplore is investing CAD500 million (USD371 million) by 2025 in deploying scalable fibre internet and fibre-powered 5G fixed wireless technology across several provinces.
