Account Manager - Precision & Synchronized Time Systems
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for day to day sales operations, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
In this sales role, you will leverage your technical expertise, product knowledge and industry relationships to identify and onboard net new customers and to support our existing clients with precision and synchronized time solutions that address their unique requirements.
You will be responsible for developing your assigned segments or verticals and achieving sustainable sales growth by establishing and maintaining customer relationships by providing excellent technical advice. You will own customer relationships from prospect identification through to post sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and manage in-bound customer requests for product information and quotes. Including gathering customer requirements and information to make product or solution recommendations. Providing quote details to sales operations to create quotes. Delivering quotes to customers and supporting customers through the quote-to-order process.
Generate new business opportunities by engaging with mid-to-large size organizations and companies across a variety of industries and segments
Work with leadership to develop and execute account strategies to close large enterprise-level deals
Manage the sales pipeline and provide timely feedback on progress
Assume responsibility for a book of accounts and grow their volume according to personal targets
Sales Process
Prospecting and pipeline management through regular communication with potential clients
Collaborate with Sales Ops to prepare quotations, bids, and estimates for customers and suppliers
Maintain customer information and document activities – ensure CRM is up to date
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in a sales role within a dynamic fast-paced organization (IT Hardware or Technology Value Added Reseller Preferred)
Experience selling technology solutions to higher education, school boards, government agencies, manufacturing & industrial or transportation and critical infrastructure organizations
Knowledge of, or experience with, Network Time and Synchronized clock systems.
Post-secondary and/or equivalent experience
Superior communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel occasionally to client sites across Canada
Excellent organizational and execution skills, with the ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive base salary, benefits and a sales commission component based on results with no cap on commission
Health benefits plan
15 days paid vacation. Additionally, the whole company is off for the week between Christmas and the New Year.
4 Personal/Sick Days per year
