900MHz Wireless System

With a focus on innovation, Sapling’s Wireless Clock System operates on the patented 915-928 MHz frequency-hopping technology. This technology allows multiple secondary clocks to operate on the same frequency range without interfering with any additional wireless products you may have.

Sapling’s 900MHz Wireless System begins with the master clock, which can receive time from any SNTP/NTP server or GPS satellite. The master clock then sends out a signal to the secondary analog and/or digital clocks.

900 MHZ WIRELESS SYSTEM ADVANTAGES

  • Each Wireless Clock Acts as a Repeater: All clocks within the wireless clock system have repeaters built into each unit, eliminating the need for additional equipment such as transmitters or extra repeaters. Every clock receives the wireless signal and sends out the time to neighbouring clocks, making Sapling’s system unique and extremely accurate.
  • Clocks Receive Signal From Multiple Paths: With each clock in the system retransmitting the accurate time signal, the clocks in the system will generally have at least one backup signal to use in case of an issue. This adds an extra layer of insurance that the clocks in your system are displaying the correct time.
  • Patented Frequency-Hopping Technology: Sapling’s 915-928 MHz frequency-hopping technology enables clocks in the system to receive the correct time, even if there is interference on any of the frequencies.
  • No FCC License: With Sapling’s wireless clocks operating on an open frequency range, there is no need to purchase costly FCC licenses, saving you thousands of dollars over the life of the system.
  • Web-Based Master Clock: Program the web-based SMA Series Master Clock from anywhere with an Internet connection. Its user friendly web interface is simple to use and can be setup within minutes.
Sapling Wired clocks

2 Wire System

Sapling’s 2-wire digital communication is one of the most advanced systems in the world. Its simple installation and accurate timekeeping technology illustrate why Sapling is the leader in this industry. The 2-wire system utilizes only 2 wires for installation, one for data/power and the other as a reference.

Paired with Sapling’s Converter Box for power distribution, the 2-wire system is capable of running many clocks off a single converter box unit. Providing immediate correction for time change, the 2-wire system is also capable of running analog and digital clocks on the same 2 wires. This system is available only on 24V clock models.

2 WIRE SYSTEM ADVANTAGES

  • Power and Data On The Same Line: The system integrates power and data on the same line, eliminating the need for a third wire.
  • Instant Correction: Up to the second correction ensures that the 2-Wire Digital Communication system is always on time.
  • Simple Installation: The 2-Wire system installation is effortless, and with features like automatic polarity detection, setup is even easier.

Sync-Wire (Retrofit) System

The Synchronous Wire system is the most popular system in the United States and Canada. Clocks are run using a power circuit that acts as its time base. The clocks receive an hourly correction which synchronizes both the minute and the second hand. Every 12 hours the clock receives a daily correction to keep the clock perfectly synchronized.

The integration of Sapling’s clocks into this system is effortless and provides maximum adaptability.

SYNC-WIRE SYSTEM ADVANTAGES

  • Automatic Protocol Detection: Analog clocks are capable of recognizing 59 minute correction, 58 minute correction and even National Time/Rauland correction.
  • Works On A Wide Variety of Voltages: Sync-Wire clocks can operate on 24V, 115V or 230V (international only), giving you maximum flexibility.
  • Interfaces With Other Systems: Sapling Sync-Wire systems are capable of interfacing with other existing systems, making Sapling clocks a perfect choice for retrofitting or new installations.
