Spectracom has released version v5.4.1 for SecureSync and 9400 Series Time Server. This update is mandatory for all units running v5.0.2 learn more

Release v5.4.1 includes some the following features:

Spectracom SecureSync 9400 5.4.1 upgrade

  • Enhanced support for multi-GNSS constellation: BeiDou + future firmware update to Galileo (hardware dependent)
  • Ethernet monitoring allows the user to observe network traffic across ports
  • NTP peer preference
  • Various improvements in software performance and clock disciplining
  • Added support for NTP Anycast over BGP protocol
  • Support for iptables for customizable access restrictions
  • Security patches include NTPd 4.2.8_p6, OpenSSL 1.0.2f, OpenSSH 7.1p2

Any system running 5.0.2 or later can be updated directly to the new version. You can determine the software your units are running (from the front panel: System >> Version; or web UI, Tools >> Versions or Tools >> System depending on which interface you are running), and apply the updates according to the instructions.
